PHASE 2/3 SOUTHERN EXTENSION
Extension of navigation beyond Refail is an objective, but cannot be implemented until Phase 1 reconnection is complete and shown to be working.
“Phase 2” would extend navigation beyond the current southern limit at Refail to a terminus somewhere on the BW-owned length to Freestone. “Phase 3”
would reach Newtown. Ideally, they would be combined. The general process/timescale for Phase 2/3 would be the same as Phase 1 Wales.
