When tensing, say<br />

Identify the tension..............................<br />

Notice where the tightness is...............................<br />

Feel the muscle pull...............................<br />

You do not have to go through all the muscle groups at one sitting. Practise in order for about forty minutes.<br />

Start at the beginning (hands) at every practice.<br />

Eventually you will be able to go through the whole procedure in twenty minutes. Do two sessions per week <strong>of</strong><br />

twenty minutes and practise at home twice a day for ten-twenty minutes at a time e.g when you wake, between<br />

work during the day after tea, when you are getting ready for bed. Do not use the ten-twenty minutes sessions to<br />

start new groups but go over those muscle groups practised in the longer sessions.
