Am absolvit Liceul Industrial de Petrol din
Câmpina, judeţul Prahova în vara anului 1997. În
toamna aceluiaşi an am fost admis la Facultatea de
Fizică a Universităţii din Bucureşti. Aici am urmat
cursu rile specializării în Fizica Atomică şi Moleculă,
având privilegiul să-l cunosc şi să lucrez cu Domnul
Profesor Florin Popescu.
În vara anului 2001 m-am licenţiat în Fizică şi am
susţinut teza intitulată “Studii ale formelor liniilor de
rezonanţă EPR ale spectrelor Pb3+ în calcita la
frecvenţe joase şi înalte” sub îndrumarea Domnului
Profesor Popescu Florin.
În toamna anului 2001 am fost admis la studiile
de Masterat în Fizica Atomică, Moleculei şi Astro -
fizică. În acea perioadă Domnul Profesor Popescu
Florin colabora cu Institutul pentru Procese Chimice-
Fizice (IPCF) – Consiliul naţional de cercetare (CNR)
din Pisa, Italia. De asemenea prin Programul
Erasmus există schimburi de studenţi între
Universitatea din Bucuresti şi Universitatea din Pisa.
În acest context am plecat pentru 10 luni la
Departamentul de Fizică ”Enrico Fermi” al Univer -
sităţii din Pisa cu o bursă Erasmus. Scopul acestei
burse era acela de a-mi pregăti teza de dizertaţie
pentru obţinerea Diplomei de Master, partea experimentală
urmând s-o realizez în Laboratorul de
Câmpuri şi Frecvenţe Înalte (HF-HF) din IPCF. Pe
durata celor 10 luni de bursă am reuşit să mă fami -
liarizez foarte bine cu instalaţiile existente în acest
laborator, până acolo încât reuşeam să-mi realizez
singur experimentele. Rezultatul acestei burse a fost
într-adevăr realizarea tezei de dizertaţie, având ca
titlu “Rezonanţa electronică paramagnetică la frec -
In the summer of 1997, I graduated the Industrial
Petrol High School, Campina, Prahova County. In the
autumn of the same year I was admitted at the
Faculty of Physics, University of Bucharest. I followed
the Atomic and Molecular physics specialization
courses, where I had the privilege to meet and to
work with Prof. Florin Popescu.
In the summer of 2001, I obtained the BSc in
Physics with the thesis “The multifrequency studies of
the EPR line shape of the Pb3+ in calcite”, promoter
Prof.Popescu Florin.
In the autumn of the same year, I was admitted to
the Masters studies in Atomic, Molecule and
Astrophysics. At that time, Prof.Popescu was collaborating
with the Institute for Chemical and Physical
Processes (IPCF) from Pisa, Italy. Furthermore, by
the Erasmus program, there was a student exchange
programme between University of Bucharest and
University of Pisa. In this context I lived for 10 months
with an Erasmus fellowship to the Department of
Physics “Enrico Fermi” of University of Pisa. The aim
of this fellowship was to prepare and realize my MSc
thesis. The experimental part I fulfilled in the high field
high frequency laboratory from IPCF. During the 10
months fellowship I managed to familiarize myself
good enough with the instrumentation from that laboratory,
until I was able to do the experiments by
myself. The result was my dissertation thesis “High
Field High Frequency Electron Paramagnetic
Resonance”, promoter: Prof.Florin Popescu.
In the winter of 2003 I obtained the MSc title in
Atomic, Molecular and Astrophysics.
