5.2.11 DIO32 Digital Input/Output Module<br />
The DIO32 is hybrid module combining the half of the<br />
DIC32DC and half of the DOC32EP modules to give 16<br />
isolated digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. The current<br />
consumption of DIO32 is 250 mA. The outputs have electronic<br />
overload and short circuit protection and can withstand<br />
a load current of 1A each. Outputs may be connected in<br />
parallel but the current on each output must not exceed 0.8A.<br />
The total sum current is thus for 4 parallel connected output<br />
I = 4 * 0.8 A = 3.2A.<br />
The input logic range of the DIO32 module is:<br />
logic 0<br />
logic 1<br />
-30 to +5VDC (0-1.1mA)<br />
+13 to +36VDC (4-11mA)<br />
The sensor must be of PNP output type or voltage supplying.The<br />
following LED indicators are located on the front<br />
edge of the module:<br />
ACT (green)<br />
ERR (red)<br />
Module is in operation<br />
The operating system has discovered a fault in<br />
the module<br />
0-15 (red) Outputs O0-O15 are ON<br />
0-15 (yellow) Inputs I0-I15 are ON<br />
