What to Manage Workflow Task Manage workflow, define user roles, and accept tasks. Sequence of Portal Commands Workflow Portal 3.13.1 Workflow Portal The browser-based user interface for managing workflow, defining user roles, and accepting tasks is called the Workflow Portal. You can access it from the Ensemble menu, by selecting the Workflow Portal option. When you do this, the [Ensemble Workflow] page displays. From here you can access any of the following pages: • [Ensemble Workflow] > [Workflow Tasks] — Accept and complete tasks, or relinquish tasks to other users. • [Ensemble Workflow] > [Workflow Roles] — Sort workflow users into workflow roles. • [Ensemble Workflow] > [Workflow Users] — Identify workflow users. • [Ensemble Workflow] > [Task Browser] — View a history of task activity, assign tasks, edit or cancel tasks. • [Ensemble Workflow] > [Worklist Browser] — View a list of all uncompleted tasks. 4 Productions The [Ensemble] > [Productions] page contains a table with information about all the Ensemble productions that are defined in the current namespace. Only one of these productions can run at a time. If you try to start one, and another is already started, a warning message displays and nothing changes. You can stop the running production and start another one from the Ensemble Productions page. You can also use the page to navigate to a specific production in the list to configure. You can display the Productions page from various locations in the Ensemble Management Portal, as follows: • From the Ensemble Menu — Click Productions • From the Ensemble Table on the Ensemble Home Page — Click more... At far right, the title bar provides a Namespace list that you can use to switch to a different Ensemble namespace. There is also a Go to list that you can use to return to previously visited pages in the Ensemble Management Portal or System Management Portal. Under the Productions page title bar is a display area. At the top left corner of this display is the Ensemble Management Portal menu. This is the same menu as on the home page. You can click on selections in this menu to navigate to other portal pages. Above the Production List are two commands: • Click Create New Production to start the production wizards that create new productions. For instructions, see the “Creating a New Production” chapter in Developing Ensemble Productions. • Click Delete Production to remove an existing production from the namespace. From this page, you can choose which production to delete from a list of existing productions. As an added safeguard, you can click View Configuration Details before confirming the delete to verify you are deleting the appropriate production. 4.1 Production List Under the Productions page title bar and to the right of the menu is a table that lists all the productions associated with the currently active namespace. You can begin typing any string in the Filter box to narrow down the list of productions. Each row is devoted to one production and has the following columns of information: • Production — The name of the production. • Status — The status of the production — Running, Suspended, Troubled, or Stopped — as described in the following table. • Last Start Time — The date and time when the production was last started.
