Productions If you click this command, the production is forced to shut down. You can also configure an automatic stop for an Ensemble production. On the [Ensemble] > [Maintenance] page, use the Auto-Start Production field to choose a specific production to start automatically at system startup, and stop automatically at system shutdown. 4.4 Production Documentation From the [Ensemble] > [Productions] page, click Documentation in the appropriate row to generate or view production documentation, which includes a list of all the configuration items and their settings. If HTML documentation exists, you are prompted whether you want to Generate a new version of the documentation or View the documentation you previously generated. It may take a considerable amount of time to generate documentation for large productions; therefore, you may not want to generate new documentation if you have not made changes to the configuration of your production. You can also generate HTML documentation and additionally PDF documentation using the following methods in the Ens.Config.Production class: • CreateDocumentHTML — creates new documentation in HTML format. For example, to create documentation for Demo.Loan.FindRateProduction in HTML format: Set status=##class(Ens.Config.Production).CreateDocumentHTML("Demo.Loan.FindRateProduction",1,.URL,.ErrLog) • RemoveDocumentHTML — removes existing HTML-format documentation in the current namespace. • CreateDocumentPDF — creates new documentation as a PDF file. For example, to create documentation for Demo.Loan.FindRateProduction in PDF format, you can use the method in a statement similar to the following: Set status=##class(Ens.Config.Production).CreateDocumentPDF("Demo.Loan.FindRateProduction",1,"C:\Temp\Rate.pdf",.Log) The PDF format requires that you have a PDF renderer installed; if you have configured one for Zen, then it becomes the default renderer. 5 Configuration The [Ensemble] > [Productions] > [Configuration] page allows you to configure operational settings for an Ensemble production in the active namespace. When you edit production settings using the configuration display, you can apply your configuration changes immediately, even if the production is running. You can view the configuration page from the [Ensemble] > [Productions] page by clicking Configure to the right of a production name. There is no menu on the Production Configuration page. Click Productions in the navigation bar to return to the list of productions. The following figure shows the configuration for the Demo.Loan.FindRateProduction contained in the ENSDEMO namespace.
