Town talk
Word has it that the State Park has now
banned dogs from the Summer Concert Series.
How do you feel about this new rule
As we were getting ready
they couldn’t find their keys
and their Honda CRV was
locked and alarmed. After
looking everywhere — under
chairs and cushions, inside
purses, etc. — Candy had
I believe the last thing a
driver wants to do is anger
a driver who is using bad
judgment and road rage to
a point where he is going to
pass you and create a much
bigger danger to oncoming
traffic.
We all know there are
many rude, angry and dangerous
drivers out there.
And yes, this man definitely
endangered everyone’s live
by pulling a stunt like that.
However, (and I can’t
stress this enough) if someone
is tailgating you, pull
over and let them pass. Write
down their license number
and call the highway patrol,
but don’t fuel their anger
and cause them to pull a
dangerous stunt like pass
on a curve and endanger
the lives of all of us on the
Hill.
We are all only human
Only in Idyllwild
dropped them at the Rustic
Theatre the day before.
We drove to the village, but
the theater was closed, and
the next show wasn’t until 2
p.m.
“So Candy walked across
the road to the real estate
office to see if they knew
when the theater would open.
Maggie Morphett telephoned
the owner, Eva, explained the
situation, and Eva replied that
yes, she had the keys, and
would be down in an hour
to open up the theater.
“With our extra hour to
spend in Idyllwild, we had
a delicious brunch at Oma’s,
and then picked up the keys
from Ken and Eva afterward
Call me!
and react to road rage with
anger, myself included. But
for the benefit of all the
other innocent drivers on
the road, please be the bigger
person and avoid angering a
dangerous driver.
Last evening seven of us
looked forward with immense
anticipation to the
Marine Band coming to
four veterans, one couple
coming from San Dimas for
this special occasion.
The performance was everything
we looked forward
to, plus some very special
tributes.
for us because children were
yelling, screaming and running
through the crowd. As
in years past, this problem
seems to happen more and
more every year.
These screaming children
were not supervised by their
parents at all, and that night
the State Park ranger had to
ask them to stop. That is
ridiculous.
