Technology and Quality: Promises
and Perils
With more than $19 billion in incentives for physicians
to implement health information technology
(HIT) scheduled to be disbursed beginning in January
2011, practicing pediatricians need to know how
they can effectively implement HIT in their practices
technology systems can ensure that pediatricians
are provided with point-of-care clinical guidance and
facilitate reporting of quality data.
