ACADEMY OF MARY IMMACULATE, FITZROY The Academy scores are displayed in blue. Also displayed are average scores for statistically similar schools (SIM) and all Australian schools (ALL). The results of the Academy of Mary Immaculate indicate that the College is performing extremely well against both like schools and all schools. YEAR 9 TO YEAR 12 APPARENT RETENTION RATE - PROPORTION OF YEAR 9 STUDENTS RETAINED TO YEAR 12 YEARS 9-12 STUDENT RETENTION RATE 84.26 % In the area of Learning Pathways, the Academy aims to build upon the strength of the Careers Education program to establish individual learning pathways for all Year 9 to 12 students. Through the growth of VCAL and VET provision, the Academy aims to establish Applied Learning pathways as options for students. The strength of student connectedness to the Academy and the support of a caring community also contributes to the high retention rate. Generally the state wide Median scores are expected to be between 4.5 and 6. ACADEMY OF MARY IMMACULATE, FITZROY SENIOR SECONDARY OUTCOMES In 2011 • 17% of students received an ATAR score greater than 90 with the College Dux receiving a score of 99.25% • 37% received and ATAR score greater than 80 • 73% of our students received an ATAR score of 60+ 100% of students who applied for Tertiary studies gained a 1 st round offer. The fact that 100% of students gained a first round offer is an excellent result and one of which we are very proud. It highlights the excellence of the Careers program offered at the Academy and the wise advice given by our Careers Consultant and heeded by our students.
