STUDENT SATISFACTION<br />

A high level <strong>of</strong> student satisfaction can be evidenced by:<br />

‣ Articulated pride in being a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Academy</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Mary</strong> <strong>Immaculate</strong> community – “we are<br />

Mercy girls”<br />

‣ Strong commitment <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> Mercy Ethos.<br />

‣ Active involvement in <strong>the</strong> life <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> College.<br />

‣ Participation in Co-curricular and o<strong>the</strong>r activities.<br />

‣ Committed and dedicated SRC Leaders and Sports Leaders.<br />

‣ Ongoing involvement in numerous extra curricular activities and activities eg College Musical,<br />

Glee Club, Cultural Day, Book Club......<br />

‣ Enthusiastic participation in House Swimming and Athletics carnivals<br />

‣ Sustained student involvement in <strong>the</strong> Social Justice Area.<br />

‣ Year 12 Exit Survey<br />

‣ Informal and formal feedback.<br />

‣ High levels <strong>of</strong> student retention <strong>to</strong> Year 12<br />

‣ Low levels <strong>of</strong> student absenteeism.<br />

SIF SURVEY RESULTS<br />

Comparative data from SIF Survey results in 2010 and <strong>2011</strong> indicates that students in <strong>2011</strong><br />

have expressed a significant increase in levels <strong>of</strong> satisfaction in <strong>the</strong> following areas:<br />

• Student morale<br />

• Learning confidence<br />

The data also indicates that a number <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r areas remain constant in terms <strong>of</strong> student<br />

satisfaction:<br />

• Connectedness <strong>to</strong> school<br />

• Student motivation<br />

• Connectedness <strong>to</strong> peers<br />

• Student safety<br />
