Yes, lead me to the water,
but please don't make me drink.
I need some time to check it out,
some time to feel and think.
And while we're at the water,
where I realize I thirst,
it would be a help to me
if I saw you drink first.

As bugle winds entice with songs of lore,
empyrean stars are shining down on me.
The restless shadows of an ancient shore
befriend the lonely, roaming wharves so free.
Few earthly bonds could ever be more dear
than laughing wavelets, crisping up the sands;
or calm, cold Dawn—so soft, so sweetly clear,
transforming pastel seas with golden hands.
Like supple silk, the soothing ocean rolls;
with whispers, I confide in healing Night;
the hillside murmurs solace to my soul;
a sage moon shares her gift of lambent light.
Elusive echoes peal; the silver horns
of elves who sound entrancing symphonies.
A goss’mer sunrise glistens, spun by fauns;
how wonderful are treasures such as these!
She brings us panoplies of purple sights,
this Nature who forever bursts anew
to paint each day with luminous delights
and nourishes with friendships staunch and true.
