Week 8…returned four punts for 45 yards with a<br />

long of 33 yards at Tennessee (9/21)…caught his<br />

first pass of the season for five yards at Jacksonville<br />

(9/28) and returned two punts for 23 yards…<br />

returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown in the<br />

second quarter vs. Miami (10/12)…it was the first<br />

of his career and only the second in team history…returned<br />

COLLEGE: The only player in Lane College history<br />

(2006)…became the first Southern Intercollegiate<br />

Athletic Conference player to earn All-SIAC honors<br />

at three positions (receiver, punt returner,<br />

kickoff returner) in the same season (2006)…<br />

holds the school career record with 1,937 yards<br />

and four touchdowns on kickoff returns…also<br />

holds the school season record with 931 yards on<br />

kickoff returns in 2005…became the first player in<br />

Lane annals to catch 200 passes in a career.<br />

PERSONAL: Attended Marion Abramson High<br />

School in New Orleans…played football for the<br />

first time as a junior for the Commodores…<strong>com</strong>peted<br />

two seasons on the gridiron and was an<br />

all-area selection in basketball…also an all-area<br />

sprinter in track, <strong>com</strong>peting in the 100-and 200-meter<br />

dashes…worked as a tutor for Upward Bound,<br />

a nationwide program dedicated to preparing students<br />

from low-in<strong>com</strong>e families for college.<br />
