him coming, the party of knights halted, and sat<br />

looking at the strange spectacle presented by the flying<br />

steed and clinging riders,<br />

Sir Pereivale, who rode on<br />

looks like Tonnerre, our<br />

forward, Sir Galahad and Sir Percivale, and meet these<br />

The two knights, whom all men at Arthur's court<br />

knew for the best and purest of those who sat at the<br />

Round Table, rode forward at once, the silver armor of<br />

Sir Galahad glittering in the last red light of day, and<br />

the fair face of Sir Percivale smiling and gay. A few<br />

moments brought the two parties together, and Tonnerre,<br />

touching his nose to that of Sir Galahad's white
