Case Summary The site is located off Lynn Road, Heacham and within Built Environment type 'D' and adjacent to the Conservation Area. Planning consent is sought for the extension to the former pub for convenience food store and two residential apartments and external alterations, and for the creation of an extended parking area. This application was deferred by Members at the Development Control Board meeting on the 15th June. Members resolved to defer the application to allow for further consideration of the highway issues. Recommendation APPROVE THE APPLICATION The application relates to a two storey building which is constructed in a Tudor style with red bricks. The building was used as the Wheatsheaf Public House. To the front of the building is a hard standing area, which would have been used for parking this is enclosed to the street frontage by a wall, allowing for an 'in and out' access arrangement. To the rear of the building is a grassed area, with some planting and trees in situ. In addition there is also a single storey carrstone outbuilding to the rear.
