2010‐2011 - Jain International Residential School

The Jain Academy for Sporting Excellence, a dream project of Dr. R Chenraj Jain, Chairman ‐ Jain Group of
Institutions to nurture young budding sports talent along with academic excellence was established in
2004.The Academy which is co‐located with the Jain International Residential School provides an ideal
setting for nurturing sports through world‐class infrastructure and training. The training includes providing
the services of International trainers, Psychologist, Dieticians and Specialist in academics. JASE being the first
Sports Academy in India to boast of comprehensive facilities and training programmes of international
standards has been set up to change the face of sporting culture in India. It is five years old now and is firmly
on the path to achieve its objective of producing true champions of tomorrow.
The ‘Academy’ has already made a mark in the field of sports by its unique programmes which are
adequately supported by the state of art ultra modern sports facilities available in the campus like indoor
stadium with facilities to play badminton, bowling, billiards, squash, table tennis, aerobics, multi gym and
cardio fitness gym, state of art swimming pool and facilities for almost all outdoor games. The training
programmes for the students are designed and implemented by highly qualified coaches. All the sports
activities of JIRS are handled by JASE.
Sports Federations, Associations, and Institutions dealing in sport, famous personalities of yester year and
reigning stars of the day have appreciated this endeavor of JGI and are overwhelmingly supporting the
cause.
A sport is a way of life at JGI. It promotes sports with vigor and enthusiasm. Incessant sports promotion in
this institution has resulted in JGI propelling many international achievers into the sporting arena. To
mention a few, Pankaj Advani, Robin Uthappa, Rohan Bopanna, Shika Tandon, Rehan Pooncha,
Hariprasad, Karuna Jain, etc.
JASE will definitely grow into a remarkably great sports institution in coming years. It is the desire of our
Chairman Sri. R Chenraj Jain that talented children should be given all possible encouragement and support
to achieve the best and their latent talent should be fully exposed so that in the days to come the country
will have champions of international stature.
