The Flexibility to Move Ahead
TRADE CREDIT
Your ScanSource account is established with a credit limit and
payment terms of Net 20 days. All we need is a completed
customer application and a copy of your tax resale or
exemption certificate to complete the review process. Our
Reseller Financial Services Investigations team will work
quickly to review your application. Turn-around time varies,
but generally an application review can be completed within
24 hours. In some cases your first order, up to $5,000, can be
shipped the same business day.
LEASING
Close more sales, increase your profits, optimize cash flow,
build customer retention – these are just a few of the many
benefits of leasing to you. We have established relationships
with a variety of traditional and non-traditional leasing
companies who can help your customer lease equipment for
any size opportunity. There are also options available that can
expand your credit availability by having the leasing company
assign payments of the wholesale cost of goods purchased
for inventory to ScanSource, therefore freeing up your existing
ScanSource credit limit.
INVENTORY FINANCING
Inventory financing is also known as floor planning. We partner
with several companies that can provide you with the inventory
financing you need. On your behalf, the finance company will
advance to ScanSource the wholesale cost of goods purchased
for inventory, while retaining an interest in those goods until they
are sold. As you sell the merchandise, payment is remitted to
the finance company. Inventory financing can also give you the
ability to finance Work in Progress inventory. This arrangement
does require approval by ScanSource and the finance company
so contact a Reseller Financial Services representative today for

ALTERNATIVE FINANCING
We can customize financial offerings for project specific
transactions that may exceed your trade credit limit with
ScanSource. We ask discovery questions that explore the
needs of you and your end user; together we can determine the
best financial solution. No matter what the situation, we’re sure

SECURED CREDIT
ScanSource has a secured credit team that specializes in
granting credit limits based on a secured position in qualified
accounts receivable and inventory. These limits are typically
$250,000 or greater, but smaller limits can be considered. This
specialized team can help you determine the right option to
meet your financing needs.
WORKING CAPITAL
At ScanSource, we understand that paying cash outright for
capital assets can significantly drain your working capital and
access to capital is vital for your company’s long-term success.
We partner with several financing companies that can provide
you with the working capital line of credit you need. They can
even supplement existing bank lines of credit. These companies
are usually much more flexible than a traditional bank.
