Trap cartridges are an effective means of handling
sample cleanup and preconcentration tasks in an on-line
environment. Before MS detection, use traps to capture
sample from buffered matrices and divert salts to waste;
or use traps to remove detergents from a sample matrix.
Additionally, traps can be used to selectively elute single
analytes from a complex mixture via solvent or salt
gradients, or they may even serve as a simple analytical
column for rapid LC/MS analysis.
Optimize's versatile trapping system comes in two
formats. The 3 smallest bed volumes (0.25µL, 0.5µL,
5.0µL) are packed in the Opti-Pak format which threads
directly into any 10-32 port and self-adjusts for a zero
dead volume connection. The 3 larger bed volumes
(20µL, 40µL, 100µL) come in the Opti-Lynx format.
This quick-connect holder gives you instant quarter-turn
access to trap cartridges. Additional sizes available
upon request.
