Alltech’s SofGrip HPLC Fittings are ergonomic high
pressure fittings. They are made from Graph-Tite
(graphitized-PEEK) material which is three times stronger
than other polymers, 100% biocompatible, and inert to
nearly all HPLC and IC solvents. The head of the fitting
is wrapped with a soft elastomer cushion, resulting in a
comfortable finger-tight connection. Use with any 10-32
port, regardless of stop depth, for a leak-free seal up to
5000psig.
SofGrip fittings come in two versions, standard and
No-Slip . The No-Slip version incorporates barrel tines
in the bore of the fitting that lightly grip the tubing
(Figure 1). This added convenience keeps the fitting in
place when changing columns or modifying plumbing.
