Schnittstellensystem »T«
für „turnable“ (drehbar)
ermöglicht den Einsatz
von Brennerhälsen, die
in ihrer Geometrie und
Ausrichtung jeweils bestmöglich
der konkreten
Schweißaufgabe entsprechen.
Denn ausschlaggebend
für ein bequemes
und belastungsarmes Arbeiten
sind nicht zuletzt
Geometrie und Stellung
des Brennerhalses. Das
Wechsel- und Positionierungssystem
»T« ermöglicht
den Einsatz von in
Leistung, Abmessungen und Ausrichtung konkret auf
die Schweißaufgabe angepassten Brennerhälsen. Die
Schnittstelle ist hierbei so konstruiert, dass eine Brennerhalsdrehung
oder der Brennerhalstausch schnell und
ohne Werkzeug direkt am Schweißplatz erfolgen kann.
Somit bietet ABIMIG ® W T ein deutliches Potenzial zur
Verbesserung der Arbeitsbedingungen der Schweißer.
Durch das ergonomische Griffdesign „ABIMIG ® T“ ist
eine beliebige 360°-Drehung des Halses in jede
Richtung für den Schweißer möglich, ohne seine Arbeit
länger zu unterbrechen. Dadurch sind auch auf die Aufgabe
des Schweißers angepasste Tasterpositionen
(oben, unten, seitlich) mühelos realisierbar. Der von der
luftgekühlten Erfolgsserie ABIMIG ® A T bekannte, sehr
gut in der Hand liegende Handgriff „ABIMIG ® T“ in
ansprechendem Design und Zweikomponenten-Technik
mit Kugelgelenk bietet als Variationsmöglichkeit sowohl
einen kurzen oder langen Taster als auch zusätzlich die
Up/Down-Funktion. Somit kann jeder Schweißer die
genau für ihn richtige Konfiguration einfach herausfinden.
Begeisternd ist außerdem die Verwendbarkeit nur eines
Grundbrenners bzw. Schlauchpaketes für alle Amperebereiche
– ohne Einschränkung der Leistung. Einfach
den Brennerhals wechseln und mit bis zu 600 A schweißen
oder einen „kleineren“ Brennerhals einsetzen und
die Vorteile der optimalen Zugänglichkeit nutzen.

liquid-cooled welding torch series makes these wishes
come true! The interface system “T” for “rotatable”
enables the use of welding torch necks that conform in
the best possible way in their geometry and alignment to
the welding application. It is exactly the geometry and
position of the welding torch neck that are critical for
comfortable and low-stress working. The changeover
and positioning system “T” enables the use of welding
torch necks that are customized precisely for the welding
job with regard to performance, dimensions and
alignment. The interface is designed in such a way that
the welding torch neck can be rotated or exchanged
quickly and without tools directly at the welding location.
In this way, the ABIMIG ® W T offers a distinct potential
for improving welders‘ working conditions.
Thanks to the ABIMIG ® T ergonomic handle design
welders can turn the neck 360° in any direction without
interrupting their work for long periods. This also means
that switch positions (top, bottom, side) adapted to the
welder‘s task can be realized in seconds. The ABIMIG ® T
handle, which is familiar from the successful air-cooled
series ABIMIG ® A T, with an attractive design and twocomponent
technology with a ball joint rests comfortably
in the hand and offers both short and long trigger
options, as well as an additional up/down function. This
way, welders can easily find out the configuration that is
just right for them.
What is also fascinating is the possibility of using just a
basic torch or tube package for all ampere ranges –
without sacrificing performance. Simply change the
welding torch neck and weld with up to 600 A, or fit a
“smaller” welding torch neck and use the advantages of
optimum accessibility.
Consumables for each application.
The nickel plated threaded gas nozzles with replaceable
spatter protection are characterized by their sturdiness
and highly effective design. They are each available in 3
nominal widths (cylindrical, conical and conical small),
in order to be able to satisfy the different requirements
for accessibility, welding power and gas shielding.
Thanks to the innovative consumables concept and optimization
of the cooling circuit throughout the welding
torch, much greater performance is achieved with a
standard brass tip holder. With the ABIMIG ® W T 540
welding torch type, an optional CuCrZr tip holder is offered
that opens up further possibilities for performance
potential and increased contact tip service life.
