INNOVATIONS<br />
As the European partner of Seabery, the company<br />
WeldPlus from Hachenburg is the contact for all questions<br />
concerning simulation-assisted training in Europe. In<br />
various projects with industrial, research and training<br />
experts, the modern education and training needs of<br />
welders have been raised, and customised solutions have<br />
been developed within the SOLDAMATIC training concept.<br />
Target groups include schools, training centres and<br />
training companies, who will provide effective training in<br />
the future with the latest equipment as well as innovative<br />
didactic and methodological concepts.<br />

Ab Anfang 2015 setzt<br />

„Augmented Training“-Schweißsimulationseinheiten weltweit<br />
ein. Davon werden Schweißer, Ausbilder und Auszubildende<br />
in zweifacher Hinsicht profitieren: Sie verwenden<br />
den besten Schweißsimulator und schweißen virtuell mit<br />
Schweißbrennern der Spitzenklasse.<br />
Seabery und ABICOR BINZEL werden somit wechselseitig<br />
das Schlüsselprodukt des anderen auf dem<br />
Gebiet der Schweißtechnik weltweit vermarkten: Die<br />
SOLDAMATIC „Augmented Training“-Technologie und<br />
die ABICOR BINZEL- Schweißbrenner.<br />
Gemeinsam mit WeldPlus ist beispielsweise geplant, dass<br />
die Messebesucher weltweit auf den Messeständen von<br />
ABICOR die Möglichkeit bekommen, den SOLDAMATIC<br />
selbst auszuprobieren und ihre Schweißfertigkeiten<br />
virtuell, aber sehr realistisch unter Beweis stellen zu können.<br />
Da an den Schweißsimulator reale Schweißbrenner<br />
Seabery und ABICOR BINZEL werden somit<br />
wechselseitig das Schlüsselprodukt des<br />
anderen auf dem Gebiet der Schweißtechnik<br />
weltweit vermarkten.<br />

Mrs. Anke Richter, the Project Manager for SOLDAMATIC<br />
at WeldPlus, is the second chairman of working group 2.8,<br />
welding trainer systems of DVS (Deutscher Verband für<br />
Schweißen und verwandte Verfahren e. V. – German<br />
welding society), which is now preparing for the international<br />
specialist conference of DVS with Expo in Nuremberg,<br />
September 2015. Welding simulators play a central<br />
role at this event. The next meeting of the working group,<br />
composed of members from areas of research, education,<br />
professional associations and federations, will take<br />
place in the new application,<br />

Together with WeldPlus, it is planned that trade fair visitors<br />
will have the opportunity to try the SOLDAMATIC for<br />
themselves and prove their welding skills virtually yet very<br />
realistically in the trade fair stands of ABICOR BINZEL<br />
globally. As real welding torches are connected to the<br />
welding simulator, each test welder can experience live<br />
and feel realistically how different it is to complete the<br />
same welding task using a conventional welding torch<br />
and using a welding torch equipped with the innovative,<br />
low-weight Bikox ® cable assembly.
