25 years and is a longstanding tradition at<br />

PrideWeek<br />

(October 11-15, 2010)<br />

PrideWeek is a campus-wide event<br />

where students can show support for the<br />

LGBTQ2 community, learn about oncampus<br />

resources, and become more aware<br />

<strong>of</strong> queer issues. PrideWeek is organized by<br />

Pride<strong>Western</strong> (www.pridewestern.ca).<br />

Theatre <strong>Western</strong>, USC<br />

Theatre <strong>Western</strong> is a student-run<br />

production company supported by<br />

the <strong>University</strong> Students’ Council at the<br />

<strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Western</strong> <strong>Ontario</strong>. Theatre<br />

<strong>Western</strong> produces shows <strong>of</strong> the highest<br />

pr<strong>of</strong>essional quality, including full length<br />

musical and non-musical dramatic<br />

productions as well as student-written<br />

one-act plays. Theatre <strong>Western</strong> provides<br />

opportunities for all students to become<br />

involved as playwrights, directors, stage<br />

managers, backstage crew or performers.<br />

At a university with so many talented<br />

individuals, Theatre <strong>Western</strong> showcases<br />

student talent on stages around campus and<br />

within the London community.<br />

(March 22, 2011)<br />

A day <strong>of</strong> environmental awareness and<br />

celebration, organized a month early so<br />

that exams don’t get in the way! This day<br />

White Ribbon Campaign<br />

(November 29-December 3, 2010)<br />

White Ribbon is an annual international<br />

campaign <strong>of</strong> men working to end violence<br />

against women. <strong>Western</strong>’s campaign<br />

is organized by the White Ribbon<br />

Commissioner (usc.white.ribbon@uwo.<br />

ca) and includes the Montreal Massacre<br />

remembrance ceremony taking place in the<br />

UCC atrium on December 6th.<br />
