Applications are available each spring from:<br />
• from the Business Office at Brescia (for<br />
paper applications only)<br />
• online at http://osap.gov.on.ca<br />
Students are encouraged to apply early.<br />
All applications and/or application<br />
information must be submitted to the Business<br />
Office at Brescia. When applying for OSAP<br />
assistance online, please remember to select the<br />
<strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Western</strong> <strong>Ontario</strong> as your primary<br />
school selection. Brescia is affiliated with the<br />
<strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Western</strong> <strong>Ontario</strong>, but all financial<br />
assistance for Brescia students is administered at<br />
Brescia.<br />
Students, along with their parents and spouse<br />
with applicant consent, are encouraged to review<br />
their individual situation with the Financial<br />
Aid Officer. If you feel you are in a situation<br />
that requires special consideration, please make<br />
an appointment to see Brescia’s Financial Aid<br />
Officer in the Business Office, Room 110.<br />
Summer OSAP<br />
The application for summer OSAP is<br />
available through <strong>Western</strong>’s Student Financial<br />
Services. For 2010-2011 OSAP, please register<br />
for your summer courses and complete the<br />
“Under<strong>graduate</strong> Summer 2011 Supplemental<br />
OSAP Application.” Applications should be<br />
returned directly to the <strong>Western</strong> Student Services<br />
Building at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Western</strong> <strong>Ontario</strong>.<br />
Deadlines<br />
Fall/Winter Fee Deferment to OSAP<br />
deadline - All students should apply no later<br />
than June 30th with all signature sheets and all<br />
outstanding paperwork submitted no later than<br />
the third week <strong>of</strong> July annually. You may defer<br />
payment <strong>of</strong> tuition until your loan documents<br />
are received if you applied for OSAP by the<br />
Brescia deadlines, and you have received<br />
confirmation from the Ministry that you will<br />
be receiving sufficient OSAP to cover fees due.<br />
Typically you should receive this confirmation<br />
automatically before the August fee payment<br />
date by either paper or email depending on the<br />
choice <strong>of</strong> communication you chose at the time<br />
<strong>of</strong> application, or you may check your status on<br />
the OSAP website.<br />
Please note that the academic year at Brescia<br />
is 34 weeks in length - two terms. A student<br />
applying for summer OSAP completes a separate<br />
application in early spring.<br />

information. Bring your ideas, doodles, drafts,<br />
or blank pages. We’ll encourage and help you<br />
to develop an effective voice in the academic<br />
