With this exciting new innovation for the <strong>2008</strong> World<br />

Automotive Congress, <strong>FISITA</strong> is encouraging young scientists<br />

to take a visionary look into the future of automotive<br />

technology.<br />

Universities from around the world entered a competition<br />

to win the chance to present their research projects at<br />

<strong>FISITA</strong> <strong>2008</strong>. The five best concepts have been chosen<br />

by the Scientific & Technical Committee and these will be<br />

demonstrated by the students themselves during the congress<br />

in 5 separate “Islands” under the themes of: Body,<br />

Electronics, Simulation, Testing & Virtual Reality, Vehicle<br />

Safety and Vehicle Concepts. Each Island uses hardware<br />

as well as audio-visual presentations to help stimulate vital<br />

discussion about the Future of Automobiles and Mobility.<br />
