can affect nervous system function, hormone levels, and immunological<br />

responses, thereby changing a person’s susceptibility to a host <strong>of</strong> organic<br />

Stress and related disorders have grown to become a major concern to<br />

us all. However, stress in and <strong>of</strong> itself is not the problem. <strong>The</strong> problem is<br />

in just how well we handle stress. <strong>The</strong> more mentally and emotionally<br />

centered and balanced we are, the more effectively we are able to deal<br />

with stress in our lives. To this end, we chose to put these remedies and<br />

their repertory into this section <strong>of</strong> the book.<br />
