insects, spiders, snakes, and animals that carry different venoms. <strong>The</strong>se<br />

venoms have had dramatic potential in shaping medicine. <strong>The</strong>y <strong>of</strong>fer<br />

medicine pr<strong>of</strong>ound techniques in treating the myriad <strong>of</strong> diseases found in<br />

the human being.<br />

This is another reason why it is such a tragedy to destroy our rain<br />

forests. Many <strong>of</strong> the people going to the rain forests are looking just for<br />

plants, herbs, and fungi that might be used in pharmaceuticals, not<br />

realizing that some <strong>of</strong> the most potent pharmacological acting agents in<br />

the rain forests come from the venoms <strong>of</strong> these different insects and<br />

animals which are becoming extinct. We must stop cutting down the rain<br />

forests and look in as many different places as we can to find ways to let<br />

nature heal. Nature can heal, and man can destroy.<br />

This short treatise has been only a brief introduction to some <strong>of</strong> the<br />

pharmacological ways that venoms can be used in homeopathy.<br />
