The flight of a refugee is, on the one hand, an act<br />
of fear and desperation, and, on the other, an act<br />
of faith and hope in the goodness of their fellow<br />
human beings who are waiting to receive them and<br />
help them begin life anew. How many refugees have<br />
seen their faith and hope justified? How many have<br />
been bitterly disappointed? What can we do to help<br />
them?<br />
