Transport needs survey for communities between
Woomelang and Swan Hill – in conjunction with
Southern Mallee TCP
Waterline refers to the small towns along
Westernport Bay. Residents, under the guidance of
Bass Coast TCP, will prepare a series of initiatives
to improve access for residents of these towns.
A review of volunteer transport provided through
HACC service delivery in the Gippsland region.
A paper was prepared discussing the future role of
the VTD, and taxi issues that the VTD should
address.
A paper was prepared to highlight issues and
potential solutions to opening up spare capacity on
school buses.
This is a second proposal to restructure the existing
V/Line coach services to operate more frequently
including on the weekends.
An update to the initial transport brochure for Bass
Coast originally published in 2004.
This initiative surveyed residents in Yarriambiack
and Buloke Shires to establish the need for
transport between Woomelang and Swan Hill.
Pilot service – Woomelang to Swan Hill A new service is being planned between
Woomelang and Swan Hill. It is anticipated the
service will operate once a week.

Transport needs survey for communities between
Donald and Horsham – in conjunction with
Southern Mallee TCP
Wimmera TCP provided $10 000 to Wimmera
Southern Mallee LLEN to assist in financing the
buses that transport young people from around the
region to VET classes in Horsham.
This initiative attempted to maximise the use of
existing transport resources, and provide a method
to link people into the community and associated
networks.
This initiative surveyed the communities between
Donald and Horsham to establish the need for a
regular transport service between these towns.
Residents of Waterline area, particularly those without
access to private transport, such as low income families,
and senior residents.
HACC agencies across Gippsland.

those travelling between Bass Coast and Melbourne,
