In <strong>commercial</strong> <strong>vehicles</strong>, the most<br />

commonly used alloys are 3003,<br />

5005, 5059, 5083, 5086, 5088,<br />

5182, 5186, 5383, 5454, 5456,<br />

5754, 6061 and 6082.<br />

The mechanical properties of<br />

these alloys can be found <strong>in</strong> the<br />

standards listed <strong>in</strong> Table V.2 and<br />

Table V.3 gives <strong>in</strong>dications on<br />

eng<strong>in</strong>eer<strong>in</strong>g suitability.<br />
