5-Aryloxyindole Derivatives 16–26; General Procedure
In an Ace pressure tube under argon, N-protected 5-bromoindole
derivative (0.35 mmol), phenol derivative (0.42 mmol), Pd(OAc) 2
(2 mol%), N-phenyl-2-(di-1-adamantylphosphino)pyrrole (7; 4
mol%), and K 3PO 4 (0.7 mmol) were dissolved in toluene (3 mL).
The pressure tube was fitted with a Teflon cap and heated at 120 °C
for 24 h. After removal of the solvent in vacuo, the corresponding
indole product is isolated by column chromatography in hexane–
EtOAc.
