There’s an update from the UK’s largest choir, Rock Choir,
which recently celebrated its 10th year anniversary in
Birmingham with members or ‘Rockies’ as they are known
from the Littleborough group joining in a special parade at
the NEC.
On page 48 there’s an appeal from the RSPCA for Victor the
cat who was found very close to death at the side of the
road by a Rochdale resident. If you can help towards his vet
bills or make a donation, please get in touch with the
charity, contact details to be found in the article.
On page 49 Councillors Neil Butterworth and Allen Brett are
fighting back against the reduction of bus services in the
area and working with Greater Manchester Transport to
improve the services.
With Summer upon us and the long school holidays looming,
look out for the next magazine dropping through your
letterbox which will be the bumper double issue covering
both the months of August and September.
