Delavan ® 1/4" Raindrop ® Nozzles<br />
This is a wide-angle (120°), hollow-cone, drift-reduction nozzle.<br />
Replaces conventional flooding nozzles in broadcast applications.<br />

Delavan 3/4" Raindrop Nozzles<br />
This is a wide-angle (140°), hollow-cone, drift-reduction nozzle.<br />
Replaces conventional flooding nozzles in high-volume, high-speed<br />
broadcast applications with flotation or truck-mounted equipment.<br />
Features:<br />
• Color-coding of the popular sizes makes it easy to match nozzle flow<br />
rates for easy identification; Made of color-coded Zytel ® nylon; Body is<br />
color-coded; cap will be black; Other sizes will be all black<br />
• Reduces drastically the amount of driftable spray particles or “fines”<br />
(droplets under 100 micrometers)<br />
• Uniform spray distribution<br />
• A large orifice opening and passages minimize clogging<br />
The Raindrop nozzle's patented design element, a secondary swirl<br />
chamber in the nozzle cap, alters the swirling action of the liquid so that<br />
fewer driftable “fines” are discharged from the secondary orifice.<br />
Zytel is a registered trademark of E.I. duPont de Nemours, Inc. Specific<br />
gravity and viscosity of solution may affect the flow of R.A. Raindrop<br />
nozzle somewhat differently than flood nozzles. Therefore, we recommend<br />
using the flow rate (GPA) of the nozzle based on water as the<br />
base calibration point.<br />
Notes: Maximum recommended pressure, nylon: 100 PSIG (700 kPa).<br />
Maximum recommended temperature 120° F (50° C). It is not recommended<br />
to space nozzles wider than 60".<br />
