Giving the catalog name alters attributes defined at thecluster level only. The catalog name is also the data component name.The restricted prefix SYS1.VVDS.V or its generic form SYS1.VVDS.* or SYS1.*.Vis not allowed as an entryname for the ALTER command.If you are renaming a member of a non-VSAM partitioned data set, theentryname must given as: pdsname(membername).See the NEWNAME parameter for information on renaming SMS-manageddata sets.
