saw an increase in cost of $167.54 over the base Fusion. The incremental increase was<br />

primarily driven by the higher direct manufacturing cost of the electric air conditioning<br />

(AC) compressor ($251.30) over the mechanical driven AC compressor ($83.75). The net<br />

incremental, direct manufacturing cost of the climate control system for the Fusion HEV<br />

over the base Fusion was $213.46; reference Table D-9 and Section H, Appendix A for<br />

additional details.<br />
