SECTION 7- BACKGROUND CONDITIONS ANALYSISTRAFFIC VOLUMES AND LEVELS OF SERVICEBACKGROUND CONDITIONS ANALYSISTraffic Volumes and Levels of ServiceTraffic Volumes and Levels Of Service for three mapping stations within theproposed Scenic Byway Corridor were provided to the Corridor AdvocacyGroup by the Lake County Public Works Department. Traffic Volume datacovered five years from 1998 to 2002, while Levels Of Service were providedfor 1999.Mapping Station # 65 is located on CR 455 at mile 6.1, or 0.05 miles westof the intersection with Fosgate Road at the western edge of the Town ofMontverde. The Annual Adjusted Daily Traffic Volume for 2002 is 2,447vehicles with a 5 year Annual Average Growth Rate of 7.22%. TheAdjusted P.M. Peak Hour Volume for 2002 is 230 vehicles and a 1999Level Of Service rating of B.Mapping Station # 67 is located on CR 455 at mile 9.9, or 0.10 miles northof the intersection with Magnolia Creek Lane and 0.55 miles north of theintersection of CR 455 and CR Old 50. The Annual Adjusted Daily TrafficVolume for 2002 is 5,241 vehicles, with a 5 year Annual Average GrowthRate of 4.75%. The Adjusted P.M. Peak Hour Volume for 2001 is 441 vehiclesand a 1999 Level Of Service rating of D.Mapping Station # 69 is located on CR Old Highway 50, 0.06 miles west ofthe southern terminus of the Scenic Highway Corridor at the Lake andOrange county line. The Annual Adjusted Daily Traffic Volume for 2002 is4,575 vehicles, with a 5 Year Annual Average Growth Rate of 11.13%. TheAdjusted P.M. Peak Hour Volume for 2001 is 475 vehicles and a 1999 LevelOf Service rating of B.46
