Income from the fund shall be used to provide student aid to bepaid to worthy students who are residents of NH and who are majors in the Music Department. The head of the Music Department shall select the student orstudents who shall receive aid. Established 2010BLANCHE D. AND GEORGE L. WHITE FUND [1TA075]Bequest of Blanche Dimond White of Cambridge, MA, the income is to be used for the benefit of any needy female student. Established 1964BLANCHE FOYE NASH LIBRARY FUNDEstablish new USNH endowment. The purpose of the ‘Blanche Foye Nash Fund for the UNH Library’ is to provide funds for the purchase of children’s andother library materials for the UNH Library. This represents a broadening of purpose from the original Blanche Foye Nash Library Fund. The Dean of theUniversity Library will be responsible for all expenditures from this fund. Established 2007"BUNNY" BRYANT BAND SCHOLARSHIP [1TA049]Income only to be used to provide scholarship aid to members of the UNH Marching Band. The award is based upon financing need, character and interestin the success of the UNH Bands. Established 1983CARL & ADA LUNDHOLM MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP [1TS003]The Carl J. Lundholm Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of Carl J. Lundholm of the Class of 1921 who served UNH and its students as teacher andcoach, and Director of Physical Education and Athletics from 1928 to 1967. Established 1968CARLETON E. MEADER JR. MEMORIAL HOCKEY SCHOLARSHIP [1TS005]Established with gifts from the family and friends of Carleton E. Meader, Jr. Awards will be made each spring to eligible Sophomore and Junior studentsfor use in the following academic year. Financial need is a factor. The Dept. of Intercollegiate Athletics, working with recommendations from the FinancialAid Office, shall select a recipient from the varsity UNH hockey team who displays financial need and has maintained a grade point average of at least 2.5,with preference given to a student showing high academic excellence. Established 1976CAROL KORZENIEWSKI ENDOWED FUND [1TA057]Established with gifts from Carol Korzeniewski. The purpose of the this fund is to provide scholarship support in the amount of $500 each to graduates ofthe Exeter, NH Area High School, enrolled as first-year students in the UNH College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. If sufficient funds are available,more than one award may be made to first-year students enrolled in CEPS, The criteria for receiving this award is financial need and academic achievement.Established 1981CARROLL M. DEGLER FUND [1TE004]Memorial fund established in honor of this Professor Emeritus of the Whittemore School by faculty, family and friends. The purpose of the fund is tosupport a continuing series of lectures in banking and finance. Carroll Degler was a long-time colleague of many WSBE faculties and was a key part of thefoundation on which the Whittemore School was created and developed. Established 1982CARTLANDS-OF-LEE SCHOLARSHIP FUND [1TA091]Bequest of Martha Hale Shackford of Wellesley, MA, establishing a scholarship to be called "The Cartlands-of-Lee Scholarship Fund". The income is to beused annually as a scholarship for a needy student or for needy students who are engaged in the study of humanities. Established 1965CEPS ENGINEERING ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIP [1TA170]A bequest from William E. Knox, Jr. established this fund. The purpose of this fund is to establish a scholarship fund for deserving engineering studentsfrom NH. Established 1993CHAMPLIN SCHOLARSHIP FUND [1TD002]Fund established with gifts from Mr. & Mrs. W.H. Champlin, Jr. of Rochester, NH, principal or income or any portion of both, to be used to aid studentsmajoring in Mechanical Engineering with preference given to those students who show an interest in the study and advancements of aeronautics. Mr.Champlin stated that his interest in aviation at the University stems from close association during the Civilian Pilot Training Program in 1940-42 withProfessor E. Howard Stolworthy. AND FLORENCE WEAST STONE SCHOLARSHIP FUND [1TB028]Established by Charles A. and Florence Weast Stone of Bow, NH, the income to be awarded to one or more students indicating financial need who areresidents of NH and have completed two semesters in the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture majoring in Animal Science.
