Seiler to provide scholarship support to a full time UNH junior or senior of good character and in good academicstanding, with a major or minor in Music, and a minimum overall grade point average of 2.8 on a 4.0 scale, and a 3.0 grade point average in Music.Preference will be given to a student preparing to teach at the elementary or secondary level, or to a student specializing in woodwinds. There shall be nodiscrimination in the use of the fund’s earnings on the basis of sex, race, religious preference or age. Income is to be used to provide financial assistance to potential students in the Shoals Program.Established 1981SKI TEAM UNH [1TS010]Established with proceeds from the sale of corporate ski passes given by the NH Ski Area Operators Association. This fund is a result of a long-standingcommitment by the Ski Area Operators that in a state where skiing is a major industry, the State’s University should have the highest caliber and mostcompetitive intercollegiate ski teams possible. The purpose of this fund is to provide a permanent support base for the enhancement of the University’sIntercollegiate Ski Teams. It is the intention of the donors not to replace University support to the teams but to help provide the extra margin of flexible fundsthat are necessary to prepare and equip competitive ski teams. Pursuant to the donor’s intent, income earned shall not be used for staff salaries. This fund willbe administered by the University designated individual(s) within the Athletic Program who has programmatic, administrative, and financial responsibilityfor the Ski Teams. It is the intention of the donors to build the principal each year with the proceeds realized from the sale of five or more corporate skipasses. It is their desire that contributions from the other private sources be solicited by the University to help achieve a goal of $150,000 or more. It isunderstood that the income earned on the fund’s assets during a fiscal year will not be available for expenditure until the following fiscal year. Income onlymay be used in support of the Intercollegiate Ski Teams, and the principal of the fund is not to be used for making awards. The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance to fulltime undergraduate sophomores, juniors, or seniors demonstrating financial need. The recipient shall be a graduate of Salem High School in NH.Established 1990STEPHEN W. & HELEN DYER SCHOLARSHIP [1TB032]The purpose of this fund is to provide financial assistance to a student who is enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student in the College of Life Sciencesand Agriculture at UNH. The criteria for making this award from income are academic achievement and financial need. Established 1980STOLWORTHY FUND [1TD017]Income only is to be used to provide scholarship aid to students in the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences. Itis the intent of the donors that this scholarship be used in the area of either physical education or swimming. Financial need is not a factor. One or moreawards will be made annually, up to a maximum amount equal to the existing in-state tuition. The recipients will be selected by the Director of Women’sIntercollegiate Athletics. Keller in memory of their son, Thomas W. Keller, who received his BA in English from UNH in 1971and was a pre-veterinary medicine student at UNH at the time of his death in 1972. Established 2009VERNON LERCH SCHOLARSHIP FUND [1TD011]Gift of Vernon Lerch, to establish scholarship Fund for the granting of scholarship and/or loans in the amount of $250 each to students in the field ofchemistry at levels above the Freshman Year. The Financial Aid Committee together with the Chairman of the Department of Chemistry shall select therecipients primarily on the basis of need, but with a high regard for the student's scholarship and potential leadership in the field of chemistry.
