THE MADHYA PRADESH TREASURY CODEVOLUME I(c)payments may be made as advances from Government funds in thefirst instance, pending recovery from the local fund.In cases where a local funds has to pay for medicines supplied, but theliability cannot be accurately known within the year owing to the account of suppliesnot being available from the supplying department by the 31st March, the local fundsconcerned should be required to pay during March a sum roughly estimated as thevalue of the medicines, any short or excess recovery being readjusted in thefollowing year(see also paragraph 434 of the Medical Manual).Section X- Other Deposits Accounts615.
