Additional Call FeaturesEnhanced Override FeatureEnhanced Override allows you to override an active call after you have attempteda Forced Camp-on. Use Enhanced Override when you make either a simple callor a consultation call (i.e., place a call on hold and call another party).To use Enhanced Override:1. Dial a telephone number and receivea busy signal.OverrideOverrideTo end the connection:Goodbye/2. Press the Override Key to initiate aForced Camp-on.If either of the persons on the calldisconnects at this time, you receive anoverflow (fast busy/engaged) signal.3. Press the Override Key again.The other two persons on the callreceive an override tone and aconference call is established betweenthe three of you. If anyonedisconnects, the other two persons willremain connected.Press the Goodbye Key.Note: Enhanced Override is not availableon the <strong>Meridian</strong> SL-100.68
Additional Call FeaturesStation Camp-onStation Camp-on allows you to transfer an external call to a busy extension.When the busy extension disconnects from its current call, the transferred call willring at the now idle extension.To activate Station Camp-on afteranswering an incoming externaltelephone call:Trans1. Press the Transfer Key.The external party is on hold and youreceive a dial tone. The screendisplays Call on hold, dial number.2. Dial the internal extension number ofthe telephone where the call is to betransferred.Connect3. On the <strong>M3903</strong> and M3904 only,press the Connect Key.Note: The person you called hears a tone,and you hear ring/ringback signal orbusy/engaged signal (depending on theoptions chosen). The external caller hearsring/ringback signal or music.4. Replace the handset.The external caller is now camped-onto the number you dialed.Note 1: You cannot camp-on to anextension that has the Call Waiting featureconfigured.Note 2: If the camped-on call is notaccepted within a specified period of time,it returns to you or to the Attendant. Contactyour network administrator to determinewhere, and after what period of time,unanswered calls are re-routed69
