DJ Danny K besitzt in seinem Heimatland
Israel ein gehöriges Maß an musikalischer
Autorität, die ihn nun auch zum A&R von
Utopia gemacht hat. Mit seiner ersten
Compi gibt er Einblick in seine Labelarbeit
und präsentiert mit frischen und ganz
frischen Acts ein beachtlich hochwertiges
Stück saftigen FullOns für verschiedene
Tageszeiten. Mein Liebstes ist das druckvoll
upliftige »Neverland« von Basic, von denen
ich, wie von etwa der Hälfte der Acts,
nie zuvor gehört habe. Daneben gibt es

Eine sehr eigenartige und avantgardistische
CD ist der »Raumschiffkommandant
remixed« geworden. In völlig unterschiedlichen
Varianten von Punk, Elektro, Psytrance
und andersartigen Musikrichtungen
bekommt man doch fast immer den
gleichen Voicesample zu hören. Also geht’s
tatsächlich um eines: ein Konzeptalbum
inklusive einer
Geschichte von
Perry Rhodan,
die sich als
Hörspiel mit auf
dieser CD befindet.
Ebenso der
Videoclip von
Der Tante Renate.
Eindruckvoll,
abwechslungsreich und für jeden die
richtige Version dabei.
The »Raumschiffkommandant remixed«
has turned out to be an extremely peculiar
reichlich acides Schnitzwerk,
Hub und Rumms aus
Serbien, Brasilien und mehrheitlich
natürlich aus Israel.
Surprise am Schluss, eine
gebrochene Nummer mit
female Vocals von Electra,
im Ansatz nicht unschön,
am Gesang müssen wir aber noch ein
bisserl feilen ...
In his home-country of Israel, DJ Danny K
has become a much respected authority
on music, a fact that has helped him
become A&R for Utopia. With his first
compilation he provides us with an insight
Alternative Floor
and avant-garde CD. Amongst the extremely
diverse variants of Punk, Electro,
Psytrance and other sorts musical styles
you nearly always hear the same vocal
sample. So it all really comes down to the
following: a concept album with an audio
story by Perry Rhodan, that you get as an
audio-play on the disc. Likewise, the video
clip from »Der Tante Renate«. Impressive,
mixed and with a version to suit every

Natürlich schmunzelt man zuerst über den
Namen, das Rätsel löst sich aber, wenn
man die Initialen der Interpreten addiert.
Andro und Snake Sedrick stecken dahinter
und es gibt wie immer erstklassigen
Progressive
House. Im Original
sehr schön
smooth und
melodiös, wird
es bei Track 2 als
Clubbervision
untenrum etwas
aufgepimpt
und der Synth
wird etwas in den Vordergrund gehoben.
Track 3 ist die Break-Version des Ganzen
von Yvel & Tristan und steht den beiden
anderen in nichts nach.
Although the name will no doubt make
you smile, all becomes clear when you
combine the artists initials together. Andro
and Snake Sedrick are the brains behind
into his label work and gives us
a respectable selection of fresh,
new acts presenting quality
Full-ons to suit various hours
of the day. My favourite is the
impressive, uplifting »Neverland«
from Basic of whom, like more
than half of the acts, I‘d never
heard before. Alongside these the is a
selection of acidic cuts, from Serbia, Brazil
and naturally a fair few from Israel. As
a surprise at the end, there‘s a breaky
number with female vocals from Electra,
not bad, but her singing could do with a

this project and as always we‘re presented
with some first class Progessive House. To
begin with very smooth and melodious,
the mood is pimped up a bit with track 2
by Clubbervision who give their synth a
much more prominent position. Track 3 is
the Break version of the Yvel & Tristan tune
and does the original justice. (baq)

Sehr geiler progressiver Tech-Trance
aus Israel; nicht aufdringlich technoidmonoton,
sondern wahrlich schöner und
harmonischer
Tech-Trance at its
best. Der Groove
ist treibend und
monoton, die
Leads bestehen
aus warmen
melodischen
Pads, die man
vom progressive Psy kennt und natürlich
knirschende FX, die im Hintergrund
agieren. Ein absolutes Muss für jeden, der
nach guten, harmonischen und innovativen
Tech-Trance sucht.
Really impressive progressive Tech-Trance
from two talented Israelis; do not expect
grating, industrial, shredded sounds, but
rather beautiful warm and harmonious
Tech-Trance at its best. The groove is
drifting and monotone, the leads are made
up of warm pads and crunchy FX. A must
have for everybody that is looking for
