6.5 Education and Behaviour Changea) Strategic ObjectiveTo continually foster increased awareness of waste issues amongst residents, businesses andmembers of the community. To actively seek on an ongoing basis, stakeholder feedback onwaste service provision, waste related issues, and improvement opportunities. To fostersustainable behaviour within the community in regard to resource recovery and wastedisposal options.b) Current PracticesOver the last three years Council has undertaken a number of education and behaviouralchange programs to address the various waste avoidance and resource recovery issues facingthe Liverpool community.
