This sets the Alternate Group and Key Assign Mode for each drum<br />

The function and setting of the Alternate Group, Key Assign<br />

Mode are the same functions and settings found in [2-3. Alternate<br />

Group, Key Assign Mode] (P. 19) in the <strong>Drum</strong> Kit <strong>Voice</strong> Edit<br />

Mode.<br />

* When this is set to “disable”, some voices may sound continuously.<br />

Press the [SHIFT] and [VOICE] buttons to stop voices<br />

sounding.<br />

5-9. Map Copy<br />

Utility Mode<br />

This function copies the preset drum map’s entire internal settings<br />

to a user drum map.<br />

UT MAP Copy<br />

When the Map Copy function is used, the user drum<br />

map’s internal settings will be erased and replaced<br />

with the settings of the copy source. If you want to<br />

keep important user drum map settings, use the bulk<br />

dump operation and save the settings to an external<br />

device before executing the map copy.<br />

q from (Preset <strong>Drum</strong> Map)<br />

Selects the preset drum kit number (1-48) that will be the copy<br />

source. The drum kit number and drum kit name will be displayed.<br />

Procedure<br />

1. In the display shown above, assign the copy source drum<br />

kit (drum map), press the [SAVE/ENT] button.<br />

The following display will appear asking for confirmation<br />

before the copy operation is carried out.<br />

2. Press the [SAVE/ENT] or [VALUE+] button, the copy<br />

operation will be carried out.<br />

* Press the [VALUE-] button to cancel the copy operation.<br />

When the copy operation is complete, “Complete!” will<br />

appear.<br />
