How ever, Redi-Lube chain is self-lubricating. Like the ANSIchain, Redi-Lube is made in standard, single and multiple widthsand Double-Pitch; the latter in two series—drive and conveyor.Construction. Heavy-walled, oil-impregnated, sintered-steel bushingsreplace the conventional rollers and bushings of ANSI rollerchain. Controlled interference fits between the bushings and linkplates prevent tight chain joints, caused by the link plates backingoff the bushings.Advantages. Redi-Lube chain, being self-lubricating, assureslong wear life when lubrication is not possible or practical. Thisadvan tage in Redi-Lube chain only applies to chain speed rangesshown in the “Speed Range” table on following page.Maximum operating temperature for Redi-Lube chain is 200°Fahr enheit. Built-in clearances and self-lubrication guard againstcorro sion and abrasion. Although these destructive elementscannot be entirely overcome, the constant presence of a lubricatingfilm in the pin-bushing contact area minimizes their effect.Attachments. A, K, M and D Type Attachments are available forthe pin links only for Redi-Lube chain. Dimensionally these pinlink attachments are the same as those for corresponding ANSIsingle pitch chains thru 3 / 4 " pitch and Double Pitch Conveyor serieschains thru 1 1 / 2 " pitch.Sprockets. Single pitch Redi-Lube chain uses Standard Rollerchain sprockets.
