Since the work is of top priority and is, therefore, to be carried out in stipulated time, only contractors having sufficient resources to complete the work in time need to participate. Timely completion of work is the essence of the contract. Therefore, no extension will be granted under normal circumstances. 4 (four) weeks time has been provisioned for ROW/ permissions and organizing initial setup to start the work. The duration of completion of work shall be worked out based on execution of work at 2 Km per week on an average over the period, if necessary, by providing additional manpower/machines. The prospective bidders who are not capable of delivering this much output on an average (averaged over four weeks) should not participate in the tender. 6. Tender will not be accepted/received after expiry of due date and time. If it happens to be a holiday on any of the dates above, next working day will be applicable. 7. It may be noted that if there is any discrepancy in NIT & Tender document, the terms and condition in the tender document will prevail. 8. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to obtain ROW(Right of way)/ Permission from the concerned Road/ Rail/ Forest/ Civic authorities etc, including permission for working form Police/ District/ Civic authorities, as the trenching rates have been suitably raised. For this, the contractor shall have to coordinate with various authorities on behalf of BSNL. No separate rates will be applicable for getting permission. Before quoting the rate, the contractor is advised to do physical survey of the route for underground utilities and probable hindrance & difficulties encountered during execution of the work. 10.
