CHAPTER 4Staff CommitteeThe Staff Committee’s (SC) was active during 2010 onseveral fronts which can be summarised as follows:• Providing recommendations on the evaluationand promotion framework and the rules of theengagement of Contract Agents;• Participating in 55 personnel selection committeesas well as an internal Task Force on the F4Ereorganisation;• Completing an analysis of processes andprocedures at F4E in view of streamlining them,in particular, for low value/risk operations;• Conducting a survey regarding the professionalbackground and experience of F4E staff, inparticular, in project management;• Managing a contract for complementary healthinsurance on behalf of 203 staff members andtheir family members;• Setting up a working group to identify ways toimprove the interactions with staff based in thetwo F4E antennae;F4E staff raised 1.953,90 EUR and donated the amount to the DisastersEmergency Committee (DEC) for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.© istockphoto• Organising 14 activities and events to fosterinteractions among staff outside the office.F4E staff volunteering to give blood during the campaign organised byCatalan Department of Health. © istockphotoANNUAL REPORT 2010 FUSION FOR ENERGY65
