This is a useful feature since manycomputers do not use a static IP address.The DI-624 supports VPN (Virtual Private Network) pass-throughfor both PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol) and IPSec(IP Security). Once VPN pass-through is enabled, there is noneed to open up virtual services. Multiple VPN connections canbe made through the DI-624.
