It is recommended thatthe latest version of the .NET Framework be obtained from the Microsoft Windows Update website at Microsoft.NET Framework update site. (http://msdn.microsoft.com/netframework/downloads/framework1_1)Therefore, it is vital that the PC to be used in the CobraNet environment be free from virus andspyware activity. We recommend that the PC be scanned for viruses and spyware regularly andthat all unnecessary background applications and services be terminated. Also, it is recommendedthat Internet Explorer users follow Microsoft’s guidelines as outlined here:1. Set Internet Explorer security level to High2. Add Web sites you consider safe to Trusted Sites3. Use plain text to read the e-mail messages you receive4.
