8. Remove the washer, special nut and spring guide and replace the spring.<br />

NOTICE<br />

Be very careful to apply downward pressure on the rod (SPECIAL TOOLS) when you<br />

remove the spanner (SPECIAL TOOLS).<br />

9. Press the rod downwards before adjusting the oil level.<br />

• Oil level in Shipping state: With the spring removed and the outer tube and rod lowered,<br />

160mm from the top of the outer tube.<br />

10. Reassemble the parts after oil level adjustment by following the disassembly procedure in<br />

reverse.<br />

Tightening torque: 20N/m<br />
