Engle and Mrs. <strong>Bullock</strong> were two <strong>of</strong> the most influential supporters <strong>of</strong> American poetry<br />

during the twentieth century, he through the Iowa Writers Workshops and she through the<br />

Academy. Among the poets contributing to this collection are: William Dickey, Donald<br />

Finkel, W.D. Snodgrass, Robert Mezey, Mona Van Duyn, Donald Justice and Philip Levine,<br />

as well as Engle himself. Engle has made a small holograph correction to his contribution. $125<br />
