and dust jacket. Fine. One <strong>of</strong> only 20 copies, specially printed on a different paper from the<br />

ordinary edition by the Overbrook Press. This copy has been inscribed by the publisher<br />

James Laughlin: “To <strong>Marie</strong> <strong>Bullock</strong>, Partisan <strong>of</strong> <strong>Poetry</strong>, from J Laughlin, 1943.” Laid in is<br />

an autograph card from Laughlin: “I want you to have one <strong>of</strong> these special copies <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Pindar - only 20 printed on Mr. Altschul’s private paper. You can have your binder do it up<br />

for you in your own style.” A very scarce, indeed apparently unrecorded, state <strong>of</strong> this<br />

publication in the Poets <strong>of</strong> the Month series. $350<br />

another 40 copies on Turkey Mill handmade paper. Finely printed by Sandra Liddell Reese.<br />
