VPBANK – GLP NEW FINANCIAL PARTNER<br />
With the goal to diversify GLP members’<br />
benefits, <strong>Vietnam</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong> Golden Lotus<br />
Plus Program and <strong>Vietnam</strong> Prosperity Joint<br />
Stock Commercial Bank (VPBank) have<br />
signed a cooperation agreement on issuing<br />
a new co-brand <strong>Vietnam</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong>-VP-<br />
Bank Platinum MasterCard. The product<br />
was officially launched on April 16, 2012 in<br />
Melia hotel, Hanoi. Under this cooperation,<br />
GLP members will accumulate miles into<br />
their accounts when using the co-brand<br />
card to pay for goods and services, or can<br />
exchange their Prosperity points accumulated<br />
in VPBank accounts for GLP miles.<br />
The earning and exchange miles mechanism<br />
is as follows:<br />
❉ GLP members will accumulate one GLP<br />
mile for each VND 50,000 spent inside<br />
<strong>Vietnam</strong>, and VND 25,000 outside the<br />
country.<br />
❉ GLP members can exchange 10 Prosperity<br />
points for one GLP mile. The exchanging<br />
mechanism of Prosperity points<br />
for GLP miles is scheduled to take effect<br />
from June 2012.<br />
Promotion campaign:<br />
❉ “Business Class upgrade for free on<br />
flight to any destination” promotion applied<br />
for card holders who spend up to<br />
VND 1.5 billion during the promotion period<br />
from April 16th, 2012 to April 15th, 2013.<br />
GLP members - <strong>Vietnam</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong> VPBank<br />
Platinum MasterCard card holders can<br />
choose either an upgrade award to Business<br />
class to any <strong>Vietnam</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong> destinations<br />
(flights operated by <strong>Vietnam</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong><br />
with designated carrier code VN on tickets)<br />
or 35,000 miles credited to their GLP accounts.<br />
❉ From April 16th, 2012 to July 31st, 2012,<br />
VPBank offers 1,000 gifts to the first<br />
1,000 customers who apply successfully<br />
for the <strong>Vietnam</strong> <strong>Airlines</strong> – VPBank Platinum<br />
MasterCard and spend at least VND 10<br />
million during the promotion time. The first<br />
600 credit card holders would have an opportunity<br />
to get 01 voucher for 01 free night<br />
at Victoria Hotels & Resorts and the first<br />
400 debit co-brand card holders will accumulate<br />
2,500 miles in their GLP accounts<br />
for each completed application.<br />
